Dear members and friends of the World Gourmet Society,
“Discovering New Culinary Landscapes” is the topic of the first World Gourmet Festival. I am happy and proud that more than 15 exceptional restaurants and chefs in 11 countries across the globe have translated this topic into an array of menus and food concepts. Every menu sounds delicious, and I want to thank all of the chefs for sharing their cooking skills and haute cuisine with us.
I also want to thank all of our friends around the world who have helped to bring this festival to life. The support we had to organize this festival and bring good food into the spotlight was overwhelming. It is the mission of the World Gourmet Society to provide a platform for our members and friends to share their love for good food and wine. I am excited that our LinkedIn group is approaching 21,000 members and that already hundreds of food lovers, well-respected gourmets, and chefs have created their gourmet profiles on our website. This demonstrates that sharing knowledge and a love of good food truly connects people and cultures.
It is my sincerest wish that all participating restaurants experience great moments when they present their dishes to their guests and for all guests to not only enjoy their meal but also to discover a new culinary landscape. I hope that all those who download this World Gourmet Festival guide but who cannot visit a restaurant get inspired by reading about what other food cultures have to offer.
