I was chef de cuisine at the prestigious Lisbon Press Club from 2005 until 2011. I'm a regular at International Food&Wine Summits where I learn and share the tricks of the trade through conferences and show-cooking sessions.
As a journalist I write about food and wine matters for several national and international publications.
I'm a Member of FIJEV (International Federation of Journalists and Wine writers), and an international judge in wine and olive oil competitions.
I holds a post-grad in Food Science and teach in the Masters of Food Science of the Science and Technology Faculty of UNL/ISA.
In my previous life he was once a film producer and director, a movie technician, a sailor, a polyglot tourist guide as well as electrician and kitchen aid... I was and still am mostly a traveller.
In my spare time I'm an active member of the Slow Food movement and the brotherhood of Enophiles and Gastronomers of Trás os Montes e Alto Douro.
