Born in 1978, I am an italian professional journalist since 2007. After being editor for the daily newspaper Il Giornale della Toscana - writing about news, economics, politics, tourism, fashion and lifestyle - today I work as a freelance jourmalist: I write on several newspapers - both online and offline, as well as Viaggi del Gusto or Il Giornale - especially in the food and wine field. Also I usually write in English on four Tuscan magazines (Florence is You, Toscana & Chianti News, Florence Daily News and Turista Luxury) aimed at an international audience, allowing them to discovery the protagonists of the gastronomic world and the excellence of the italian territories. Moreover, I am the founder of the 'Forchettiere' website (www.ilforchettiere.it), among the most read in Tuscany.
As evidence of my recognized reputation in the world of food and wine journalism, in recent years I was sworn in several regional, national and international juries in the field of agronomic products of excellence. Similarly, I organised juries of experts – journalists, bloggers, chefs, restaurateurs and nutritionists – for the delivery of Award Prizes related to the most valuable gastronomic companies. Also I arranged exhibits and contests between high quality chefs, as well as 'Chocolate chef' that takes place every year in Florence (Italy) during the Artesanal Chocolate Fair. As a journalist I hold a place in the board of Aset (Association of wine & food tuscan journalists) since 2014, and as a press office - on the other hand – I'm in charge of the communication of Villa 'La Ferdinanda' in Artimino (Tuscany), Unesco World Heritage Site, as well as an old Modena's balsamic vinegar company. Living for 20 years in Tuscany, I often meet the protagonists of Italian restaurants and other journalists with whom I have built a solid network of professional relationships.
